Physical praises seem to be rather shallow and superficial. I learnt that you have to be more than just a pretty face.
It’s a Privilege
A pretty face doesn’t mean you’re better than anyone. It just means you are lucky enough to be born with a bonus, that pleasant looking physical appearance. Unless you have an incredible amazing extraordinary pretty face that you are the highest paying model in the world or best actress, you better be good at something else. A pretty face can only take you so far in a short run and oh my, pretty faces never last forever.
It’s a Bonus
I’ve been in many industries and seen some things. I found out that pretty faces are popular because they attract people, like how advertisement attract customers. With only just a pretty face, you inevitably become a product, a “thing” for companies to sell.
You can probably work as a model in the short run (unless you always dream of being one and aim for high fashion) and then probably work in the sales or front line. It’s a pity, because that’s the furthest you can go. You use that pretty face to go up the corporate ladder.
More than just a pretty face
A pretty face only takes you so far. Be more than that. Just your pretty face as a bonus to life and not an asset. You have to develop a skill you are good at, so that people know you for your worth, not for that pleasant looking appearance. You are an asset not a product. You have to be good at something else, be intelligent, be passionate, be kind. With all of that and the bonus of a pretty face, I promise you can go far in life.
Remember that a pretty face is only a bonus and not an asset. Find something to prove that you are more than just a pretty face and you can go so far in life
Love,
L
