Of Your Last Goodbye
If you only had 30min to live, who will you call with your last goodbye? Who will to run to meet? Who will you hug? Who will you say your last "I love you" too?
It funny when we're about to die, things that seem to matter do not and those we take for granted becomes the last defining moments before our last breath.
Life's too short to be miserable. Go to places you must go. Tell your mum you love her. Thank your dad. Hug your friends. Smile at a stranger. Little things go a long way and it also makes our lives a little more worth living.
On the topic of death, here's a question to ponder on: Who will be at your funeral?
What impact have you made in your life? How many lives have you shaped? How many people have you touched? Do you think your accountant, financial managers, sales directors and regional a mangers will by lying my your death bed grieving your loss, or would people you've helped, loved and impacted be by your bedside.
I've heard of many stories of people dying with no one by their bedsides. Are they poor and unsuccessful people? No! Some are rich successful businessmen. However, they've been so focused on building the business and leaving a legacy behind that they did not build relationships. On the contrary, a simple man in town had the whole town grieving his loss because he has impacted their lives in his lifetime.
If you were to die tomorrow, think about who will cry at your funeral. If you're absolutely clueless, my dear, you've got to start living your dreams and touch lives!
Love,
L
