She was unstoppable.
Not because she didn’t have failures or doubts,
but because she continued on despite them.
— Beau T., Unstoppable
Not mine, but this short poem really drove a very deep impact in me, 10 years ago. And when doubts arises, when things get tough, when I forgot about the beauty and joy in the world, I come back to this.
Doubts always exist. Fears are there. Failures are just part of the process. In spite of them, we have to keep going. We have to keep pushing. We want to keep push. We want to keep going. That’s how we are unstoppable. That’s how we continue to grow and thrive. That’s how we succeed. Because we are unstoppable.
A key tip is to always come back to the internal locus of control.
I can’t change the situation. But I can always change and adapt to how I react, how I adapt, how I respond and how I feel about it. When that is within control, unstoppable will I be.
